Commercial Artist in 68, Fleet Street, where the offices of the Bible Training College were, and he kindly offered
me a post, and the £2 per week which I immediately received seemed `wealth, beyond the dreams of avarice'. Just
before this, meetings had been convened by readers of Things to Come at the Holborn Town Hall, not far from the
ancient timbered Staple Inn, where two hundred gathered on a Sunday evening for some time.
